If you "Just" want to watch
the Fireworks

| In the past we have suggested that if all you want to do is watch the fireworks
as many do, there is a few things you want to know. #1 without
question is: stay on your home side of the Columbia River. The Interstate 5
bridge is going to be a traffic mess. Well this return year
of Fireworks in 2010 is going
to be a whole new ball game as there will be no barge and the distance that
they can be viewed is going to be limited. As this is the first year inside
the park, it will be somewhat of a learning process to see how far they can
be seen from. In the past it has also been a Freebie Event as many Hotels
and other local businesses have benefited from the influx of the one day
tourist influx. This year, nobody has helped and so the Fort Vancouver
People did what they could to re-continue this fabulous event by charging an
admission to the park. |
