Bus Service to and from the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

In Vancouver C-TRAN shuttles depart from the Vancouver Mall Transit Center (on the north side, where Mervyn’s used to be) from 6 PM to 9 PM about every 10 minutes. Shuttles return to the Mall immediately following the fireworks show. They will have plenty of buses standing by to get everyone back; The round-trip fare is $1.00 per person or $3.00 for groups up to six riders–children six years and under ride free. Exact change is required. C-TRAN tickets and passes are accepted; C-TRAN’s Vancouver Mall Passenger Service Office will be closed but Passenger Service representatives will be available at the shuttle location to answer your questions. C-TRAN’s Call Center will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Picnic baskets, coolers and lawn chairs are welcome on board buses, but remember that all items are subject to search at the park entrance. For more information on C-TRAN service, please contact C-TRAN’s Passenger Service Office at (360) 695-0123.

From Portland, you will need to use Tri-Met. At this time they are not offering any special services for this event, but I do think if enough people offer that suggestion they will get it taken care of in time. You may want to check the Tri-Met web site to see if they have put something together.

No alcohol, fireworks, pets, grills, tents, canopies, knives or weapons allowed!
